Stefanie Miltenburg

Stefanie Miltenburg is international CSR Officer at Sara Lee (Utrecht) and as such responsible for the development and deployment of the company’s CSR strategy in the international Beverages, Bakery, Household and Body care business.

 

Stefanie is also Director of the Douwe Egberts Foundation (established 2002). This independent organization manages Sara Lee’s coffee and tea projects in countries of origin. Its goal is to further sustainability in mainstream coffee and tea production and processing, working in particular with small-scale producers.

 

She is also chairing the SAI Platform Coffee Working group. This industry driven initiative works to actively support the development of sustainable agriculture and to communicate worldwide, involving the different stakeholders of the food chain.

 

After graduating at the University of Wageningen, Stefanie started her career as food scientist at the Ministry of Public Health in Den Hague, followed by different positions in technical support and public affairs at companies like DSM and Bayer.
